    The short answer

The best Mixmax alternatives depend on the tier you are leaving. For tracking and scheduling, Yesware starts at $15 a seat billed annually. For sequences, which Mixmax starts at $49 a user, Outplay, Klenty, Mailshake, Reply.io and lemlist compete directly. For volume sending, Instantly, Smartlead and QuickMail price on sends, not seats.

    Key takeaways

    • Mixmax's pricing page bills per user: Inbox Copilot $29, Engagement Copilot $49 and Mixmax Suite $89 a month billed annually, with a free plan that tracks 20 emails.
    • Email sequences start at Mixmax's $49 Engagement Copilot tier, which is the threshold Outplay, Klenty, Mailshake, Reply.io and lemlist compete against.
    • Yesware lists Pro at $15 a seat billed annually and Mailmeteor Starter at $5.99 per user, both cheaper replacements for Mixmax's inbox tracking.
    • Volume tools such as Instantly, Smartlead, QuickMail and Woodpecker say extra email accounts cost nothing, which suits spreading sends across many mailboxes.

Mixmax's pricing page lists a free plan and three paid tiers priced per user: Inbox Copilot at $29 a month billed annually, Engagement Copilot at $49 and Mixmax Suite at $89, with Mixmax for Teams quoted. Sequences, the feature many teams bought Mixmax for, start at the $49 tier. That ladder is what most searches for Mixmax alternatives are reacting to, so the alternatives below are grouped by the Mixmax tier they replace, and every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page.

What are the best Mixmax alternatives?

It depends on which Mixmax tier you are leaving. For Inbox Copilot's tracking and scheduling, Yesware and Mailmeteor cost less per user. For Engagement Copilot's sequences, Outplay, Klenty, Mailshake, Reply.io and lemlist are the direct Mixmax competitors. For cold email at volume across many mailboxes, which Mixmax does not price for, Instantly, Smartlead, Saleshandy, QuickMail, Woodpecker and Snov.io fit better.

What Mixmax charges, tier by tier

Mixmax's pricing page bills every tier per user. Free is $0 and tracks 20 emails. Inbox Copilot, $29 a month billed annually or $34 monthly, adds unlimited email tracking, inbox categorization and meeting scheduling. Engagement Copilot, $49 or $65, adds email and multichannel sequences with an AI sequence builder. Mixmax Suite, $89 or $105, bundles those with Meeting Copilot for meeting prep and summaries. Every paid tier starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card, and the page says Mixmax syncs to Salesforce or HubSpot.

Mixmax itself gets weighed directly against a high-volume Gmail rival in Gmail-based outreach comparison, which breaks down pricing and integration tradeoffs.

Two things push people to look elsewhere. The per-user unit means a team pays the tier price once per person. And a team that only wants sequences pays for them from the $49 tier upward, alongside inbox features it may already have.

Alternatives to Inbox Copilot: tracking and scheduling

Yesware works through an Outlook add-on and a Gmail Chrome extension. Its pricing page lists a free plan at $0 a seat with 10 campaign recipients a month and a meeting scheduler, then Pro at $15 a seat billed annually or $19 monthly, Premium at $35 or $45, and Enterprise at $65 or $85, which adds a Salesforce inbox sidebar.

Mailmeteor runs in Gmail, Google Sheets and Excel. Its Hobby plan is free for 500 emails a month, and Starter is $5.99 per user a month with the page's toggle on Monthly, its default, for 5,000 emails a month. Premium, at $17.99, adds email warmup and a custom tracking domain.

GMass served its pricing page in pounds to this comparison: Standard is £23 a month billed monthly, or £15 a month on annual billing. The US-dollar ladder was not readable here.

Alternatives to Engagement Copilot: sequences and multichannel

Outplay has a free-forever plan with 2 mailboxes, a Starter plan at $39 a month billed annually with 5 mailboxes, and Growth at $89 per user a month billed annually with unlimited mailboxes. Each paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

Multi-channel outreach platforms like this pair naturally with dedicated deliverability tools, a pairing explored in warmup versus outreach tool comparison.

Klenty lists Starter at $50 a month billed annually for 15,000 contacts and 75,000 emails a month, then Growth at $70 and Plus at $99 per user a month, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.

Mailshake lists Starter at $29 a month, Email Outreach at $49 and Sales Engagement at $99, with lower prices on yearly billing. The Mailshake and Mixmax comparison goes tier by tier.

Reply.io prices its Email Volume plans from $59 a month, or $49 on annual billing, and describes them as having no limits on users or mailboxes under a fair usage policy. Its Multichannel plan starts at $89 per user a month billed annually.

lemlist lists its Email plan at $69 a month, or $55 on yearly billing, and the card says unlimited users and 50,000 emails a month. Its Multichannel plan is $109, or $87 yearly, per user. The page's own comparison block then lists Email from $55 per user a month, which disagrees with the card, so confirm how users are billed before buying. The lemlist and Mixmax comparison covers the pair.

Alternatives for cold email at volume

These tools price on sends, contacts or mailboxes rather than on Mixmax's tiers, which is the better shape for a team spreading volume across many mailboxes.

Instantly lists its Outreach Growth plan at $47 a month with unlimited email accounts, unlimited email warmup, 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 emails a month. The Instantly and Mixmax comparison covers the switch.

Smartlead lists Base at $39 a month for 2,000 contacts and 6,000 email sends, and its FAQ says all plans include unlimited email accounts at no extra cost. The Mixmax and Smartlead comparison sets them side by side.

Saleshandy lists Starter at $34 a month billed annually, or $41 monthly, for 1 user. Pro, at $76, covers 10 users, and Scale, at $149, has no seat limit.

QuickMail lists Starter at $49 a month with unlimited email senders, unlimited LinkedIn accounts and unlimited users.

Woodpecker prices on contacted prospects rather than seats, and its page lists unlimited team members and unlimited email accounts at no extra cost.

Snov.io lists Starter at $39 a month, and its paid plans each include unlimited team seats.

A note on how these tools are used. Most of them sell follow-up steps inside a sequence. This site's own practice is one message per campaign, with no bumps and no thread replies, so sequence depth is not a reason to pick one here; sending capacity across mailboxes is.

    A worked example: five people

The arithmetic here is illustrative. The team is invented and the prices are list prices, with the billing basis named each time.

Five people on Mixmax Engagement Copilot cost 5 times $49, or $245 a month billed annually. The same five on Yesware Premium cost $175, on Klenty Growth $350, and on Outplay Growth $445. Plans that do not charge per seat change the picture: Saleshandy Pro at $76 a month billed annually covers 10 users, and QuickMail Starter at $49 a month lists unlimited users. The cheapest-looking entry price is not always the cheapest bill for a team.

Monthly cost for five users: per-user plans against flat plans Outplay Growth, annual: 5 x $89 $445 Klenty Growth, annual: 5 x $70 $350 Mixmax Engagement, annual: 5 x $49 $245 Yesware Premium, annual: 5 x $35 $175 Saleshandy Pro, annual: covers 10 users $76 QuickMail Starter, monthly: unlimited users $49 Ink: per user. Brass: Mixmax. Green: flat
Five people on each plan (illustrative: invented team, list prices, billing basis in each label). Per-user plans multiply; flat plans do not.

    Moving off Mixmax

Leaving Mixmax is a rebuild more than an export. Its pricing page shows how much of a setup lives inside the product: email templates and shared templates, sequences built with its AI sequence builder, meeting scheduling links, and, on paid seats that bought the add-on, custom domains on tracking and calendar links. Write down which of those your team uses before choosing a replacement, because the groups above do not all cover them.

An inbox tool such as Yesware or Mailmeteor replaces tracking and templates. A sequence tool replaces the sequences. Meeting links are the part most often forgotten: Yesware's free plan includes a meeting scheduler, but check the replacement's scheduler before the Mixmax links stop working.

Then time the switch to the billing term. Mixmax's annual prices are lower than its monthly ones, $49 against $65 a user on Engagement Copilot, so a team on annual billing should plan the move for its renewal rather than pay twice.

    1

Templates and shared templates. Copy them out first; an inbox tool such as Yesware or Mailmeteor takes them over.

    2

Sequences. Recreate only the campaigns you still run, in the tool you chose.

    3

Meeting links. Set up the replacement's scheduler before the Mixmax links stop working.

    4

Custom tracking and calendar domains. If your paid seats bought the add-on, point those domains at the new tool.

    5

Billing. On annual billing, move at renewal rather than paying for both.

The parts of a Mixmax setup its pricing page lists, in the order to move them, and what replaces each one.

How to Choose the Right Alternative

Section illustration: How to Choose the Right Alternative

Name the tier you are leaving. Inbox tracking, sequences and volume sending are three purchases, and the groups above each replace one of them.

Multiply by the team. A per-user price times the headcount is the real entry price, and it is the number to set against a flat plan.

Check what a mailbox costs. Instantly, Smartlead, QuickMail and Woodpecker say extra email accounts cost nothing; Outplay caps mailboxes by plan.

Plan the move. Templates, sequences, meeting links and tracking domains are the parts of a Mixmax setup that need rebuilding, as the section above lists.

    Final Recommendation

    Section illustration: Final Recommendation

If the reason for leaving is the per-user price of tracking, Yesware and Mailmeteor are the closest cheaper fits. If it is the $49 threshold for sequences, Outplay, Klenty, Mailshake, Reply.io and lemlist compete directly, and the seat rules decide which is cheaper for your team. If the real job is sending across many mailboxes, a volume tool such as Instantly, Smartlead or QuickMail is the better shape. Run the free plan or trial on real mail before committing.

If you would rather have this run for you, RevenueFlow books qualified meetings on a pay-per-meeting basis and publishes client results.
