    The short answer

Datanyze is about half the price per contact, from $29 a month for 80 credits, and prints its own per-credit cost on the page. UpLead is $99 a month for 170 credits, verifies emails in real time and publishes a 95 percent accuracy rate. Verification is the difference in the price.

    Key takeaways

    • Datanyze prints its unit economics: $0.363 per credit on monthly Nyze Pro 1 and $0.263 on the yearly plan.
    • Dividing the published UpLead figures gives about 58 cents a contact on monthly Essentials and about 44 cents on the annual plan.
    • UpLead verifies emails in real time as you search and publishes a 95 percent accuracy rate; the Datanyze page claims accuracy in words without publishing a number.
    • Datanyze's free tier is a 90 day trial with 10 credits a month and no card, the longest evaluation window in this comparison.

Datanyze vs UpLead: Data Enrichment Tool Comparison

Datanyze prints its own per-credit cost on the pricing page: $0.363 on monthly Nyze Pro 1, $0.263 on the yearly plan. UpLead publishes credit counts and leaves the division to you. Running it gives about fifty eight cents a contact on Essentials, which makes this one of the few comparisons in the category with a clean numeric answer.

    The Quick Answer

Datanyze is the cheaper entry by some distance. Nyze Pro 1 is $29/mo for 80 credits a month, or $21/mo billed yearly for 960 credits a year. Nyze Pro 2 is $55/mo for 160 credits, or $39/mo yearly for 1920. Nyze Lite is a 90 day free trial with 10 credits a month and no card required.

UpLead Essentials is $99/mo for 170 credits, or $74/mo billed annually with 2,040 granted upfront. Plus is $199/mo for 400, or $149/mo with 4,800. Extra credits are $0.60 and $0.50, and one credit unlocks one contact including the mobile direct dial.

Pick Datanyze for cheap technographic research. Pick UpLead when the contact has to be verified and complete.

    Understanding the Core Difference

Datanyze prices on a small monthly or yearly credit pool with the per-credit cost printed on the page.

UpLead prices on a credit meter where one credit unlocks one contact, with the annual option granting the whole year up front.

The price gap is real and so is what it buys.

On unit cost, Datanyze wins on its own printed figures: 26 to 36 cents a credit against roughly 44 to 58 cents a contact on UpLead depending on tier and term. On allowance the two are closer than the headline rates suggest, since 160 Datanyze credits and 170 UpLead credits are almost the same monthly volume at $55 against $99.

What the extra money buys on UpLead is verification and completeness. UpLead verifies emails in real time as you search, publishes a 95 percent accuracy rate on them, and includes the mobile direct dial in the credit. The Datanyze page fetched for this comparison claims an accurate database in words and publishes no accuracy RATE to hold it to.

And the two are aimed at different searches. Datanyze leads with technographic data and company technology stack tracking; UpLead leads with 50+ filters and technographics across 16,000 technologies as one filter among many.

Datanyze is unusual in publishing its own unit economics beside the tiers: the page prints $0.363 per credit on monthly Nyze Pro 1 and $0.263 per credit on the yearly equivalent, so the annual discount is visible without arithmetic. The free tier is a 90 day trial rather than a permanent plan, and it needs no card.

Billed annually the same tiers run $74/mo for 2,040 credits a year and $149/mo for 4,800, with extra credits at $0.60 and $0.50 each, as published mid-2026.

The annual option changes the allowance as well as the rate. Monthly Essentials meters 170 credits a month; annual Essentials grants 2,040 up front, so the year's allowance is available on day one. UpLead's own definition of a credit is on the same page: one credit unlocks one contact, with the email and the mobile direct dial included.

What the two cost at a realistic volume

Take an invented but ordinary case: 160 contacts a month. The arithmetic below is illustrative and uses only the list prices each page publishes.

On Datanyze, 160 contacts is exactly Nyze Pro 2 at $55/mo, or $39/mo billed yearly with 1920 credits for the year. The page prints the unit costs itself rather than leaving them to be calculated.

On UpLead, 160 contacts fits inside Essentials at $99/mo for 170 credits, or $74/mo billed annually with 2,040 granted upfront. Dividing the published figures gives about fifty eight cents a contact monthly and about forty four cents on the annual plan.

So at identical volume Datanyze costs roughly half. The question that decides the purchase is whether the cheaper credit returns a usable, deliverable contact as often, and no pricing page on either side can answer that. The 90 day Datanyze trial makes it unusually cheap to find out.

Reading the price ladders against each other

Both ladders are honest and both reward the annual term.

Datanyze prices monthly and yearly on the same page with a Yearly and Monthly toggle, and prints per-credit costs beside each. Its free tier is a 90 day trial rather than a permanent plan and needs no credit card, which is the longest evaluation window in this comparison.

UpLead changes the allowance at the annual term rather than just the rate, granting 2,040 or 4,800 credits upfront, and publishes its overage at $0.60 and $0.50 a credit. Its own trial is 5 credits over 7 days, which is enough to see the interface and not enough to judge coverage.

One note on reading the Datanyze figures. This comparison could not fetch datanyze.com directly: every attempt on 28 August 2026 answered HTTP 403 from a plain request and from a headless browser alike. The figures above come from a successful plain fetch of the same page earlier that day, and a failed fetch is never evidence that a price has changed.

Feature overlap between Datanyze and UpLead. Each column is what that vendor lists in its own wording, so a capability both offer can appear on both sides.

    • Buyer intent data (Professional)
    • Data enrichment
    • Chrome extension
    • Bulk lookup
    • Company news and alerts

Datanyze's list is technographic first: technology stack tracking, company and contact profiles, icebreaker conversation starters, tags and notes, all designed around the Chrome extension.

UpLead's list is verification first: a published 95 percent accuracy rate, real-time email verification, 50+ search filters, technographics across 16,000 technologies, with suppression list uploads and email pattern intelligence on Plus. Both offer technographic filtering and both export to CSV, so the diagram above is showing emphasis rather than a clean split.

    Integration Ecosystem

    Section illustration: Integration Ecosystem

Datanyze connects with: Google Chrome, Salesforce, HubSpot.

UpLead connects with: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Outreach, SalesLoft, Zapier.

The integration lists are not close. Datanyze publishes Google Chrome, Salesforce and HubSpot. UpLead adds Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Outreach, SalesLoft and Zapier, and reserves bi-directional CRM sync for Professional.

If contacts have to reach a sequencer or a CRM automatically rather than as a downloaded CSV, that gap decides this regardless of unit price.

    Who Should Pick Which

Pick Datanyze if cost per credit is the constraint. It prints the cheapest unit cost in this comparison on its own page.

Pick UpLead if the contact must be verified. Real-time verification and a published accuracy rate are the difference in the price.

Pick Datanyze if technographics are the targeting criterion. Technology stack tracking is what it is built around, and the 90 day trial makes it cheap to test.

Pick UpLead if the data must land in a sequencer or CRM. Three integrations against eight is a wide gap for an automated pipeline.

Where Each One Sits In A Cold Outbound Stack

Datanyze sits at the cheap end of the sourcing slot, built around the Chrome extension and technographic filters rather than bulk list building.

UpLead sits in the sourcing slot. It resolves contacts and verifies emails, and nothing in it sends.

Both fill the sourcing slot and neither sends. For a cold email programme the practical question is what fraction of each list survives verification, because that is the number that turns a cheap credit into an expensive one.

Our own doctrine keeps the sending slot deliberately narrow whichever data vendor fills the one in front of it: one message per campaign, no bumps and no thread replies, and volume spread across many low-volume mailboxes so no single address carries too much. LinkedIn runs as its own motion rather than as a step inside an email sequence, because a second LinkedIn message lands under the one that was ignored and reads as a bump whatever the campaign structure says. Meetings are qualified against criteria agreed in writing before launch, never against budget or timing.

UpLead verifies at search time and publishes an accuracy RATE; the Datanyze page claims accuracy in words without a number. An independent check belongs before the sender either way, because a bounce costs your sending domain. See email verification tools.

    Switching Between Them

Moving from Datanyze to UpLead is usually a quality decision rather than a volume one, and it is worth measuring rather than assuming: run the same fifty accounts through both and compare deliverable addresses returned.

Moving the other way is a cost decision, and the 90 day Datanyze trial means it can be tested before anything is cancelled.

In both directions keep the suppression list outside the tool, and export anything already unlocked before access ends.

    Getting Started Checklist

    Section illustration: Getting Started Checklist

    1. Use the 90 day Datanyze trial to measure deliverable addresses returned rather than to browse the interface.
    2. Run the same fifty accounts through both and compare what survives verification.
    3. Check how the data has to reach your CRM, since Datanyze publishes three integrations against eight.
    4. If demand is bursty, price the UpLead annual plan for its upfront credit grant.
    5. Note the UpLead overage rates as a safety net: $0.60 and $0.50 a credit.
    6. Verify before sending whichever tool produced the list.

    Final Thoughts

Datanyze is roughly half the price per contact on published figures, and the page fetched for this comparison claims accuracy in words without attaching a rate to it. UpLead costs more and verifies as it searches. That is the trade, stated plainly.

Since the cheaper credit is only cheaper if it returns a usable address, the 90 day Datanyze trial is the most valuable thing in this comparison. Measure both on your own accounts before deciding.

If you would rather have the sourcing and the sending run for you, RevenueFlow books qualified meetings on a pay-per-meeting basis and publishes client results.

Pricing and features are taken from the vendors' own pages. Verify current terms with the vendor before relying on them.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions.

    Frequently asked questions
    Is Datanyze cheaper than UpLead?
Yes, by roughly half on published figures. Datanyze prints $0.363 per credit on monthly Nyze Pro 1 and $0.263 on its yearly plan, while dividing the UpLead numbers gives about 58 cents a contact monthly and 44 cents annually. Whether the cheaper credit returns a usable address is the question that actually decides it.
    Does Datanyze verify emails?
Its pricing page claims an accurate database in words and publishes no accuracy RATE, and it lists direct email and phone lookups with no equivalent to real-time verification. UpLead states that it verifies email addresses with a data accuracy rate of 95 percent and verifies in real time as you search. That is a vendor claim, and it is testable on your own segment.
How long is the Datanyze free trial?
Ninety days, with 10 credits a month, and the page states that no credit card details are needed to start it. UpLead's trial is 5 credits over 7 days by comparison. The longer window makes it realistic to measure how many Datanyze credits produce a deliverable address before paying anything.
Which integrates better with a CRM?
UpLead, clearly. Datanyze publishes Google Chrome, Salesforce and HubSpot, while UpLead adds Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Outreach, SalesLoft and Zapier, with bi-directional CRM sync on Professional. If contacts must reach a sequencer automatically rather than as a CSV, that gap decides it.
