    The short answer

LeadIQ meters one credit pool monthly from $200, at 1 credit an email and 10 a phone number. RocketReach prices per seat and changes the unit on annual plans: unlimited lookups with exports metered at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year, instead of the 100, 250 or 1,000 monthly lookups.

    Key takeaways

    • RocketReach annual plans give unlimited lookups and meter exports instead, which is a different billing unit rather than just a lower rate.
    • RocketReach publishes an email send limit of 500 a day on every tier, which caps its usefulness as a sending layer.
    • Every RocketReach fetch made for this comparison, plain and headless, was served pounds: £20, £51 and £105 a month.
    • The dollar ladder here is carried forward rather than read from the page as served.

LeadIQ vs RocketReach: Data Enrichment Tool Comparison

RocketReach's own plan comparison shows lookups capped at 100, 250 and 1,000 a month on its monthly plans and UNLIMITED on the annual ones, with exports metered instead at 1,200, 3,600 and 20,000 a year. Choosing annual on RocketReach does not just cut the rate, it changes the unit you are billed in.

LeadIQ has one unit and one meter throughout, which makes it easier to forecast and harder to game. That contrast is the whole comparison.

    The Short Answer

LeadIQ meters credits monthly from $200 and puts a phone number at ten times the cost of an email. RocketReach prices per seat, gives unlimited lookups on annual plans and then meters exports instead, at 1,200 to 20,000 a year depending on tier.

RocketReach is the better research tool and the better value at volume on an annual commitment. LeadIQ is the better daily driver for a rep who needs the contact inside a sequence immediately.

    What Each Tool Actually Is

LeadIQ is a prospecting platform for capture from Sales Navigator into a CRM or sequencer, metered in credits at 1 an email and 10 a phone number.

RocketReach is a broad people-search index over 700 million professional profiles, with Autopilot list building and its own light sending layer.

The lookup-versus-export split is worth understanding before comparing prices. A lookup on RocketReach is seeing a record; an export is taking it away. On the monthly plans those two are billed together and capped low. On the annual plans you may look at as many records as you like and are billed on how many you extract, which suits research-heavy work and punishes bulk extraction.

LeadIQ makes no such distinction. A credit is spent when a contact is revealed, at 1 for an email, 10 for a phone number and 3 for an account enrichment, and the monthly slider runs from 200 to 6,750 before Enterprise. There is nothing to optimise, which is either a simplification or a missed saving depending on how you work.

LeadIQ's pricing page carries a slider rather than a ladder. Pro shows $200 a month against the slider's opening position of 200 credits a month, and the positions run 200, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000, 3,500, 4,000, 4,500, 5,500 and 6,750 before handing over to Enterprise. Annual billing is priced at 25 percent off, Enterprise is annual only, and every plan carries a 30-day trial.

The credit table is where the real pricing lives. LeadIQ's page prices an email at 1 credit, a phone number at 10, an email and phone together at 11, and an account enrichment at 3. A phone number therefore costs ten times an email address on the same meter, so a team that dials is spending its allowance an order of magnitude faster than a team that only emails.

Ultimate (email and phone)$209/mo$142/mo1,000/mo, unlimited on annual1,000/mo or 20,000/yr

RocketReach charges per seat and changes what you get, not just what you pay, when you switch to annual. Its own plan comparison shows lookups capped at 100, 250 and 1,000 a month on the monthly plans and UNLIMITED on the annual ones, with exports then metered instead at 1,200, 3,600 and 20,000 a year. The email send limit is 500 a day on every tier and Autopilot list building runs 5, 10 and 25 active jobs.

One caveat on the prices themselves. RocketReach geo-serves its currency, and every fetch made for this comparison, plain and headless, was served POUNDS: Essentials £20 a month or £242 billed annually, Pro £51 or £615, Ultimate £105 or £1,255. The dollar ladder above could not be re-read from this network at all, so confirm it on your own view of the page before budgeting against it. The page also states that custom team plans start at $6K annually.

What 3,600 contacts a year costs on each

The example below is invented and uses each vendor's published units.

Three thousand six hundred email contacts a year on RocketReach Pro, billed annually, is exactly that tier's 3,600-export allowance at $75 a month on the dollar ladder, with lookups unlimited on top. Spread the same 3,600 over a year on LeadIQ and it is 300 credits a month, which sits just above the slider's opening 200 position.

Add mobile numbers to a quarter of them and the two diverge sharply. Nine hundred phone numbers on LeadIQ is 9,000 credits, which no single slider position covers on a monthly basis. On RocketReach a phone number is an export like any other, so the same 900 sits inside the Pro allowance and the only question is whether you are on the email-and-phone tier.

One caveat on RocketReach's dollar figures, and it matters. Every fetch made for this comparison, plain and headless, was served pounds: Essentials £20 a month or £242 annually, Pro £51 or £615, Ultimate £105 or £1,255. Confirm the dollar ladder on your own view of the page before budgeting against it.

    Who Should Pick Which

Pick RocketReach if the work is research-heavy: many records viewed, fewer taken away. Unlimited lookups on an annual plan is a genuinely different product from a metered one, and Autopilot list building at 5, 10 or 25 active jobs automates the tedious part of it.

Pick LeadIQ if the work is action-heavy: fewer records, each of them acted on the same day. Champion tracking and one-click push into Outreach or SalesLoft are the features that justify the higher floor, and neither has a RocketReach equivalent.

A "yes" leans LeadIQ, a "no" leans RocketReach
    • No: You view many more records than you export
    • Yes: You want contacts pushed into a sequencer automatically
    • No: An annual commitment is acceptable
    • Yes: Job-change alerts on past champions would matter
    • No: You need org charts and company news alongside contacts
    • No: Mobile numbers are a large share of the work
Whether you look or extract decides this one, and it is not the usual axis for a tool comparison.

    • Built-in email verification
    • Autopilot automated list building

    • Org charts and company news
    • Intent data

RocketReach's list is a research surface: org charts, company news, technographics, firmographics, intent, built-in email verification. LeadIQ's is a workflow surface. RocketReach also carries its own sending, with an email limit its plan comparison puts at 500 a day on every tier, which is a real constraint if you were planning to send from it.

    Integration Ecosystem

    Section illustration: Integration Ecosystem

LeadIQ connects with: Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gmail, Zapier.

RocketReach connects with: Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, Bullhorn, Zapier.

The two integration lists overlap almost completely on the CRM and sequencer side: Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft. RocketReach adds Bullhorn, which is recruiting; LeadIQ adds Gong and Sales Navigator, which are sales. Neither list should swing the decision.

Where Each One Sits In A Cold Outbound Stack

LeadIQ is a capture-and-personalise layer that sits between Sales Navigator and whatever sequencer you already run. RocketReach is a broad people-search index with its own light sending and automation layer on top.

RocketReach can be a research layer and a light sending layer at once, though its 500-a-day email limit puts a ceiling on the second role. LeadIQ is a capture layer that expects a real sequencer underneath.

We send one message per campaign, never bump and never reply into a thread, so a sending layer bundled into a data tool is worth very little to us and the export allowance is worth a lot. Read RocketReach's annual export numbers as the real price of the product if you work the same way.

    Switching Between Them

RocketReach to LeadIQ usually happens when a research habit becomes a prospecting job. Export the saved searches and lists first, and expect the unlimited-lookup habit to be the thing that hurts, since every reveal on LeadIQ costs a credit.

LeadIQ to RocketReach is easiest at an annual boundary, because the annual plan is where RocketReach's value sits and the monthly plans are metered tightly enough to feel like a downgrade. Check the pound-versus-dollar question on your own account before signing.

    Getting Started

    Section illustration: Getting Started Checklist

    1. Measure your own ratio of records viewed to records exported. That single number decides most of this comparison.
    2. On RocketReach, confirm which currency your account is served before quoting a price internally.
    3. On LeadIQ, apply the 10-credit phone multiplier to the share of contacts that need a mobile.
    4. Check RocketReach's 500-a-day email limit against any plan to send from it.
    5. Run both free options on the same 25 accounts and compare fill rate and time to sequence.

    Final Thoughts

RocketReach is the better research index and the better annual commitment. LeadIQ is the better daily prospecting tool for a team that already has somewhere to send.

Before comparing the two on price, work out whether you are billed for looking or for taking, because on RocketReach the answer depends on which plan you sign.

If you would rather have this run for you, RevenueFlow books qualified meetings on a pay-per-meeting basis and publishes client results.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions.

    Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a lookup and an export?
A lookup is seeing a record and an export is taking it away. RocketReach bills them together and caps them low on monthly plans, and on annual plans it makes lookups unlimited and meters exports instead. That suits research-heavy work and punishes bulk extraction, which is the opposite of most tools here.
Why are the RocketReach prices in pounds?
The page geo-serves its currency. Every request made for this comparison, plain and through a headless browser with a United States locale and timezone, came back in pounds: £20 a month or £242 annually for Essentials, £51 or £615 for Pro, £105 or £1,255 for Ultimate. Confirm the dollar figures on your own view.
Can email be sent from RocketReach itself?
In a limited way. Its own plan comparison publishes an email sending limit of 500 a day on every tier, alongside sequences and an AI email writer. That is enough for light personal outreach and not enough to run a campaign, so most teams still need a real sending layer underneath.
Which is better for a rep working in Sales Navigator?
LeadIQ. Its whole design is the ten seconds between seeing a person on LinkedIn and having them enriched and pushed into a sequence with a draft attached. RocketReach is a broader research index with Autopilot list building, and it does not integrate with Sales Navigator the way LeadIQ does.
