    The short answer

The best TheirStack alternative depends on which half you replace. For hiring data, PredictLeads bills per API request after 100 free calls a month and Coresignal per record from $49 a month. For technographics, BuiltWith starts at $295 and Wappalyzer at $250 a month. TheirStack itself starts at $49 a month for API credits.

    Key takeaways

    • TheirStack sells company credits from $109 once for 1,000, or $98 a month, and API credits from $49 a month for 1,500, with a free plan of 50 company and 200 API credits.
    • PredictLeads bills per API request, where one Job Openings call returns up to 1,000 records for 1 credit, and the first 100 calls each month are free.
    • Coresignal bills per record, 1 credit per job posting and 10 per company record, on monthly plans from $49 for 2,500 credits to $5,000 for 10,000,000.
    • For technographics, Wappalyzer lists $250, $450 and $850+ a month and BuiltWith $295, $495 and $995, and both offer free single-site lookups.

TheirStack sells two kinds of company data, the jobs a company is hiring for and the technologies it runs, and prices both on credits. Its pricing page lists 1,000 company credits for $109 once in its app, and API access from $49 a month for 1,500 credits. A TheirStack alternative has to replace one of those jobs, so this page groups six vendors by the job they replace, hiring data or technographics, and prices each from its own pricing page in the currency it serves. Contact finders are left out on purpose: they start where TheirStack stops, once the account list exists.

What is the best TheirStack alternative?

It depends on which half of TheirStack you use. For job posting and hiring data, PredictLeads bills per API request and Coresignal per record, and both have a free way in. For technographics, BuiltWith and Wappalyzer sell technology lead lists from $295 and $250 a month. Crustdata and People Data Labs suit teams building on an API. No single vendor copies the whole product.

What TheirStack sells, and how it charges

TheirStack's pricing page has three tabs, and each sells the same data on a different unit. The App tab sells company credits. One credit reveals or exports one company with all its job postings, technologies and firmographics, and that company stays viewable for 90 days, though each export is capped at 200 jobs per company. Packs run from $109 once for 1,000 credits to $999 for 200,000. A switch under the card turns the pack into a monthly subscription at 10% off, which reads $98 a month for 1,000 credits and $899 a month for 200,000.

The API, Webhooks and MCP tab sells API credits by the month, from $49 for 1,500 to $5,500 for 5,000,000. The FAQ sets the meter at 1 credit per job, 3 per company and 3 for all the technologies a company uses, and each call is processed independently, so a repeated request spends again. The Datasets tab prints no price. It sells the jobs archive, which it describes as 225M records plus 305k new per day with history back to 2021, as a delivered feed through a sales conversation.

Three terms apply across the page. Unused paid credits roll over for 12 months, there is no limit on team members, and the free plan includes 50 company credits and 200 API credits per month. One figure does not match the rest: the FAQ says paid plans begin at 90€ monthly, while the cards, served in dollars here, start at $49 a month for API credits. The TheirStack pricing breakdown on this site walks through both ladders credit by credit.

Across all three: unused paid credits roll over for 12 months, and team members are unlimited.

The three tabs on TheirStack's pricing page sell the same data on three different units, as the page and its FAQ describe them.

Which part of TheirStack are you replacing?

TheirStack's homepage describes three signals: companies hiring, companies using a technology, and buying intents found by filtering job postings for keywords. The first and third both come from job postings, so in practice there are two jobs to replace. One is hiring data, meaning which companies are posting which roles, and when. The other is technographics, meaning which companies run which software. Most vendors specialise in one of the two, and the right alternative is whichever sells the half you use, on a unit that matches how often you pull it.

Which alternative fits depends on which part of TheirStack you use; each branch names the vendors this page prices for that job.

A signal from either source is a filter on the account list, and it earns its keep only while it is fresh. How long a hiring signal stays useful, and what happens when several teams work the same feed, is covered in this site's guide to signal-based outbound.

    Hiring and job posting data

    PredictLeads

PredictLeads sells company datasets: news events, job openings, technologies, key customers and similar companies. Its pricing page is pay-as-you-go with no commitment. The first 100 API calls each month are free. From 101 to 5,000 calls the rate is $0.04 per API credit with a $40 minimum monthly charge, and the rate falls by tier to $0.002 per credit above 500,000 calls. The unit is the request: a Job Openings call returns up to 1,000 records for a company and costs 1 credit. Following a company for real-time webhook signals is billed at 1 credit per company per month, and credits do not roll over. Full flat-file access, with historic data from 2015, is sold through a conversation with a no-questions-asked money-back policy.

    Coresignal

Coresignal sells company, employee and job posting records through Database APIs and bulk datasets. The API plans are monthly, from Mini at $49 for 2,500 credits through Starter at $199, Pro at $499 and Growth at $1,000, up to Elite at $5,000 for 10,000,000 credits, with a 7 day free trial on a 2,000-credit free tier. The yearly toggle takes 10% off and drops Mini, so Starter reads $2,149 a year. The meter runs the other way from PredictLeads: a job posting costs 1 credit, a company or employee record 10, and a multi-source record or a contact enrichment 20. Only the three largest monthly plans roll credits over, for three months.

    Crustdata

Crustdata sells real-time company, people and jobs data through APIs, plus a flat-file company and people dataset refreshed monthly and unified from 11 sources. Its pricing page describes credit-based usage tiers with monthly and annual payment plans but prints no figure, and its FAQ offers free trials for API access and sample datasets for the flat files. A buyer gets a price by signing up or talking to sales, so it cannot be ranked on cost here.

An illustrative case shows why the unit matters more than the plan price. Take one company with 1,000 open job postings. TheirStack's API spends 1,000 credits on it, one per job, and Coresignal also spends 1,000, one per posting, while a single PredictLeads Job Openings request returns up to 1,000 records for 1 credit. In TheirStack's app the same company costs one company credit, but an export stops at 200 jobs.

    Technographics: who runs which software

    BuiltWith

BuiltWith's plans page says the tool is free to use for individual site lookups, and charges for lists and reports. Basic is $295 a month, Pro $495 and Team $995, and the Per Year switch prices them at $2,950, $4,950 and $9,950, which is ten months of the monthly rate. The Basic card lists 2 technologies and 2 keywords, 24 of each on the yearly plan, where Pro and Team list them as unlimited, and Team lists unlimited Pro logins. The page cites data from 491.9 million domains and 127,622 tracked technologies, and prints a pound estimate beside each dollar price.

    Wappalyzer

Wappalyzer's pricing page is built around technographics workflows. Pro is $250 a month for one user, Business $450 for five and Enterprise from $850 for 25 or more, and the annual switch, labelled save 17%, prices them at $2,500, $4,500 and from $8,500 a year. A free account includes 50 lookups and email verifications per month, five website alerts and free sample lead lists. API credits included in a plan expire after 60 days, a credit typically covers one website, and a plan can be paused for up to three months. The page states that its prices are in United States dollars.

Building on an API: People Data Labs

People Data Labs sells person and company data through APIs and licensed feeds, and lists job posting data as a beta dataset in its menu. Its pricing page prices the person data: a free Testing tier with up to 100 credits a month and contact data not included, a Self-Serve tier starting at $98 a month or $940 a year from 350 credits a month with contact data included, and custom pricing with annual contracts for bulk data. The page prints no price for job posting data, so for hiring signals it is a conversation, and for enrichment after the list exists it is a published ladder. This site's guide to People Data Labs covers the person API in more depth.

    How to choose

Schematic: How to Choose the Right Alternative (TheirStack, Budget, B2B lead data, Integration requirements)

Start from the unit you will spend most. A team that checks the open roles of a few hundred named accounts each week makes one request per company, which is the case PredictLeads' per-request meter is priced for. A team that wants every posting in a market, record by record, is buying volume, where Coresignal's per-record plans and TheirStack's own Datasets tab compete. A team that only needs the software a company runs does not need hiring data at all, and BuiltWith and Wappalyzer both start with free single-site lookups.

Hiring and technology data are two of several intent sources. This site's list of intent signal APIs groups more providers by how you connect them, and its guide to B2B intent data explains when paying for any of them makes sense.

    The short version

TheirStack prices company credits from $109 once or $98 a month, and API credits from $49 a month, with a free plan of 50 company and 200 API credits per month. For hiring data, PredictLeads charges per request after 100 free calls a month and Coresignal per record from $49 a month, while Crustdata prints no price. For technographics, BuiltWith starts at $295 a month and Wappalyzer at $250, both with free single lookups. People Data Labs starts at $98 a month for person data.

If the goal is booked meetings rather than a data feed, you can see what a first campaign produces on your own market.

Pricing and features are taken from the vendors' own pages. Verify current terms with the vendor before relying on them.
